On the heels of an ambitious year of virtual programming (seven different shows!), as well as a return to live performance (world premiere of Xandra Nur Clark’s Polylogues), innovative theatrical offerings (The Goddamn Tooney Lunes, and Pleasure Machine) and two recently announced commissions, Colt Coeur is thrilled to announce two new additions to our Leadership team:
Alex Marrs is stepping into the role of Executive Producer, after being a Board member since 2019, and Vanessa Peréda is creating the role of Programs Director, after wearing many hats at Colt Coeur over the years (intern on Zürich, teaching artist, Director of the Education Initiative and Mentorship programs, actor, company member, Board member...)! They will collaborate with Founding Artistic Director Adrienne Campbell-Holt and the greater Colt Coeur community to continue CoCo’s ambitious programming.
We also welcomed three new Board members in July:
Audrey Vuong Broome, Braley Degenhardt, and Andrew Perlmutter
AUDREY VUONG BROOME (she/her)
Audrey graduated from Columbia University and the Yale School of Architecture. She has worked as an architectural designer and project manager at the award-winning Michael Maltzan and Gensler firms, among others. Audrey was a Founding Board member of Colt Coeur, who stepped down in 2013 as she was based in Los Angeles. In Los Angeles, in addition to her architectural work, Audrey was a founding member of MAEVE Los Feliz, a chapter of the national non-profit organization that seeks to empower all who mother in support of one another and their communities. Audrey, her husband Bede, and their two children Addie and Holden, recently moved back to the NYC-area, settling in Larchmont.
BRALEY DEGENHARDT (she/her)
Braley graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut with a BFA in Acting. She lives in New York City, has acted in educational touring productions with Shakesperience, and cultivated a love of marketing! Braley began her marketing career as an intern at Primary Stages and over three years became their Marketing Manager, working with artists such as Charles Busch, Sharon Washington, and Kate Hamill. She is now the Director of Marketing at Atlantic Theater Company, the Tony Award Winning Off-Broadway Theater Company and Acting School. Braley has been thrilled to celebrate her first season at Atlantic working on Sarah Silverman's musical The Bedwetter and Jeanine Tesori's musical Kimberly Akimbo, which will be transferring to Broadway this fall!
